Thank you to everyone who joined me yesterday for The Way of the Househusband! I am pleased that everyone who attended was amused by this silly slice of life comic. Included below are all of the sources I used to research the history and development of modern manga so I could sound like I knew what I was talking about! I think the style is visually striking and I hope you continue to explore these comics. At the very least, I think the YouTube video linked below that shows the day in the life of a manga artist is worth the watch. It’s fun and informative!

Thank you to everyone who has joined me for the first year of Beyond the Bubble Book Club! It was a joy to facilitate and to be able to chat comics with you all. I am so looking forward to continuing on in the new year.
I have not picked our next book for when we meet in January 2025. It the perennial Alyssa problem of I have a bunch of ideas - I just need to decide! So you will be hearing from me soonish.
